Mindprison Project is a single-author 32-map megawad that hasn't made an appearance on Doomworld and would have escaped our attention if it wasn't for a suggestion by yagami (thanks!). Partly inspired by Plutonia, the maps don't suffer from a lack of chaingunners, revenants or archviles and the difficulty doesn't stray too far from Plutonia's own. Coupled with a more modern map design, the mapset provides a good balance of old and new and should prove to work quite well on TNS!

The spirit of Halloween lives on for another week in this... not quite season-appropriately named megawad but with a mix of autumn and gothic themes that more than makes up for that. While the monster populations are quite modest for the most part, a few maps should prove to be pretty interesting in the pain rota!

The second scariest day of the year, after Tax Day, is here and in a bit of a non-traditional twist we have a run-and-gun romp instead of an atmospheric adventure ready for you. But don't fret, the graphics and music still fit the theme of the season and well, it's Halloween on TNS, anything could happen to enhance the atmosphere...

Going deeper Into Sandy's Cities to finish our exploration of a land where Sandy Petersen is the king. The megawad tries to recreate his mapping style with absolutely no prejudice to any aspects of it and does manage to do so really faithfully. Continuing where we left off last week, get ready for another evening of pure Sandy Petersenness!

Doom 2 celebrated its 30th anniversary recently (technically just last week), an occurrence that went by without much fanfare. That's a sad fate for a release that made Doom truly into the best game ever but let's try to make up for it in our own little corner of the Doom community with this megawad which, as the name might suggest, is a tribute to Sandy Petersen's maps and should prove to be quite fitting for the occasion!
