To compensate for all that darkness the wad uses SoftFX which is a texture and sprite pack allowing for brightmap-style effects in ports that don't support brightmaps, giving you among other things a spooky eye glow by which you can identify enemies even in complete darkness. Ready to be spooked 1.5 months in advance or not, here we go!
